The University of Florida Shands Cancer Center (UFSCC) is part of one of the leading referral centers in the Southeast and is the flagship cancer center for the state of Florida and its residents. UF Shands Cancer Center clinical and research activity occurs primarily on University of Florida's two academic campuses located in Gainesville and Jacksonville. Additionally, they have strong working relationships with many community physicians across the state of Florida and southeast Georgia.

Admissions at Shands at UF is located on the first floor of the hospital near the atrium and east entrances. Admissions is open from 7 am to midnight.

Visiting Hours

Family and friends are welcome to visit patients during the Shands hospital's visiting hours, 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., seven days a week.

Shands at UF has a cafeteria and food court located on the first floor of the hospital. For your convenience, the hours are listed below:

• Cafeteria: Monday to Friday, 6 am - 10 pm; weekends, 11 am - 8 pm
